This is truly a awesome-looking fan. Polished, sleek, modern, industrial. The LED lights are bright but not annoying, while the tilting feature is a plus, but a limited one. Near the end of the installation, you must decide which of a few different positions around the circle to “lock in” the fan, such that, once locked in, the fan can be tilted along a straight line from “forward” to “backward”, but in no other directions. So pick a place in the room that you are most likely to spend the most time (like in front of the kitchen sink if it’s a kitchen fan) and position the fan such that it can be tilted directly toward that place. As for output, the good news is that this fan has some power. The bad news is that it’s pretty noisy at the medium and high speeds, although that might be good news to those who like “white noise” when they sleep. And even though I’m one who prefers being cool (even cold) to being hot, I can’t imagine ever needing to crank this baby on high speed.I have to admit that the price on this unit almost prevented me from pulling the trigger. Delivery to NJ took about 5 to 7 days and the package showed up in great shape. The unit itself is beautifully crafted, great brushed finish, not sure what gauge metal was used but its very thick stainless. It's a somewhat heavy fan and will need adequate support, meaning it HAS TO BE ATTACHED to a good rafter/beam. Installation was easy once in I opened up the ceiling and added a new 2x4 as the existing support would not work.It comes with the bulbs and those are not high efficiency and will need to be replaced both for the consumption issue and the amount of heat they generate. The fan although small in diameter moves plenty of air but is extremely loud on the high setting. All and all I'm very happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone to add a bit of flare to an office or gaming area.Finish is brilliant and it's not too terribly difficult to install. Only complaint is the lights that come with this only shoot beams straight down at a very narrow angle and lighting is dim. They also burn very hot and you can feel the heat while working on your counter space. As a result we have to purchase some LEDs with a wide light dispersion angle to replace the stock lights; additional cost is considerable. Other than that, it's a fine unit that will impress your guests and fit well in any brushed nickle or stainless-themed kitchen. This fan looks good in my kitchen, but I'm disappointed in how loud it is. I'd say it's equivalent to a stove exhaust fan. My problem is that if I had gone with a traditional ceiling fan, the blades would have made the can lights strobe, so this worked for my application, but I probably won't use it as much as if it were silent.Exactly what we wanted for odd space we were trying to find light for. Many compliments so far! Would have gave 5 stars if lights were LED and fan was little quieter.Love Possini product... lights that comes with products exceeds 120v and wouldn’t come on... keeps making flickering sound. Use lower wattage bulbs and works fineI bought 3 of these at once. Two out of the 3 were unable to change fan speeds. Fans plus sent me 4 receivers for the remotes and none of them worked. They said I could take them completely down and return them for full credit. TRhis was after I paid electricians to install because I am 72 years old. It would cost me sevewral hundred dollars to gwet the electricians to come back out. They finally offered me 20% off t"o keep them "as is". I decided to finally keep them due to they do look nice. They are terribly noisy, especially the 2 that only run on high! In spite of the great appearance I would not recommend these fans and especially anything from Fans Plus!
